Council meetings are minuted by the Clerk – The Minutes are approved by Council and signed by the Chairman at the next meeting – until then Minutes are to be considered as draft.
All meetings are open to the press and public under the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Clyst Hydon Parish Council Standing Orders unless their presence is prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or for other special reasons. Exclusion of the public from all, or part, of a meeting shall be by resolution which shall give reasons for the public’s exclusion.
